Luis Robayo is an attorney with Sondela Law focusing his practice on first-party insurance litigation.
Luis was born and raised in South Florida. He attended Florida International University earning his bachelor’s degree in political science and earned his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University graduating with honors.
In law school, Luis developed a passion for oral advocacy and represented his law school in national mock trial and moot court competitions. His exceptional skills in trial and oral advocacy led to his admission into the Order of Barristers honor society.
After law school, Luis began his career working as an Assistant State Attorney for Miami-Dade County where he applied the trial advocacy skills developed in law school to work on behalf of the citizens of Miami-Dade County seeking justice for victims of crime. During his time at the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s office he tried dozens of jury and bench trials to verdict earning invaluable courtroom experience. In addition, his duties as an Assistant Chief in the juvenile division included training newer prosecutors how to conduct themselves in the courtroom.
Luis now focuses on putting his years of courtroom experience fighting for justice to work for his clients. Whether it’s achieving a negotiated settlement or bringing the fight to the courtroom, Luis is prepared to provide his clients with exceptional representation throughout every step of the litigation process with his primary objective being to acquire the best possible results for his clients.
